Pekná názorná ukážka
Interesting ... compared to many other rotor heads the blades seem to lack one or two freedoms of movements...
Thanks😂
Camera 2 and 3 and some other views show rotor axle spinning with lower swashplate, which should be stationary with regard to fuselage. This is wrong.
Sensacional
The S-61 has a fully articulated rotor head, which is missing from your animation.
easy 😁😁😁
Awesome
Is this a rigid rotor or does it have flapping hinges? Very nice animation!
It is a fully articulated rotorhead (not rigid at all)
@@KarelKinable Are there minor changes to the angle of attack when the hinges lead/lag? I suppose its a much greater effect when the blade flaps up/down. I’m not talking about motion relative to the air, just from the linkages to the swashplate.
Esclarecedor
The Camera 1 view is the only one that is real world accurate because the camera is fixed. And the upper rotorhead revolves. The other 3 views the camera fixates on a component and revolves with the component so you can see how the revolution affects that component. On the real world s61 the spherical bearing does not revolve at all. It only slides up and down on the outer mast tube in concert with the stationary star which it is engaged with being raised and lowered by the collective servo. Nor does the mast tube ever revolve. The mast itself revolves within the mast tube which is there to support the globe of the spherical bearing. The stationary star also acts as the inner race to swashplate massive ball bearings, whearas the rotating star is the outer race. The actual transition from fixed to revolving plates happens through those ball bearings. The mast itself is the driving compnent and is fixed to the rotor hub and is what rotates the hub, with it's affixed vertical, horizontal hinges and dampers and blade spindle, pitch horns and coaxially pitching blades.
Who's here from AE446 exam :D
I could never visualize all previous verbal explanations of how this worked. Your animation is awesome. It's now perfectly clear. Thank you.
You´re very welcome.
Good👍
wow wow wow, what an incredible visualization. It's 2021 now and this was made in 2008. another wow. thanks a lot. you have one for the uh-60?

Hello, do you have the video of how you created it and by which program the simulation was done?
Nice video ... But i still want to understand how the rotor make helicopter turn right or left and go to front .. thanks so much
Áonde se encontra o rotor essa pesca completa. Quero fazer um elicoptero.
Bagai mana sisitim pasang alat baling-baling
i swear this is the best animation to get the idea of design . thankyou author
You're welcome ;-)
Hi Karen. I am a vol with the Historic Army Aircraft Flight at Middle Wallop, Hants. I have been tasked with producing a series of 1 minute videos covering all manner of the flights activity for kids and interested parents. I can produce plenty of footage of the real thing but explaining cyclic and collective pitch needs animation or at least models. IF, we were to credit you fully, might it be possible to use parts of this video in one of ours please? One of our guys is a TP, so we are looking at some aspects of test flying at some stage. It's one thing to know....passing it on takes real skill. Amazing work chap👍
This is terrific! BTW, where is the counterbalance to the upper scissor link? There would have to be one, wouldn't there? Just wondering what it would look like and where/how it would be mounted.
NO SERIA MAS SENCILLO EL EJE DEL ROTOR CON UNA CRUCETA PREGUNTO .
oke
Ijin nyimak❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍
где горизонтальный шарнир??
The wrong parts are moving vs. stationary 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Fantastica animazione 3d x comprendere il passo collettivo e ciclico.
Realizarlo en Solidworks seria lo maximo!!!!!...
nice
god
It's real gift for me.
As Daredevil Dan once told me Man Was Meant to fly but it is a Miracle to HOVER.
Check out ayden Palmon channel
Met de samen werking van de helikopter en de bemanning PROFICITAT, schitterend.
It beats the air into submission, then eventually leaves the ground with a mass of violently flapping flippers.
And due to gyroscopic precession, you apply lift to the blade 90 degrees from where you might expect! Helicopters are very cool but the failure of any one part in the rotor system is typically fatal. Fixed-wing aircraft are more forgiving in so many ways...
Davvero ben fatto! Complimenti e grazie. Finalmente ho capito come fa a muoversi l’elicottero. Dovevo arrivare a settanta anni. Meglio tardi che mai.
Гениально
Brilliant video! I leant more in 5 minutes than watching countless other "explanatory" videos. Well done! +1
Thank you very much for your nice comment ;-)
Very Good ⚙️🛠🔩🗜👏👏
Sieu. Nge thuat.
This is one of those mechanical systems that allows the helicopter to fly. Do not ask for an explanation, just accept the fact that it works.
😋💚😍
Very very nice. THANKS
I dont get 0:45 how the orange verticle rods connected to the blade pitch work at the bottom. They connect to the blue ring and when the blue ring tilts so do the orange rods but they are attached to a bolt which shows an impossible feat happening. They should not work. Should be able to pivot on the bolt but shown here doesnt make sense. Bolt or rod would break. I'd think there would be a ball type socket on the bottom of the orange rod that the bolt slid thru. If this was real there would be alot of metal wear. Did you just design this for just a basic understanding? Just curious.
Thank you for your work, The first time I understand how helicopter works and how 3d flight is possible.
you’re welcome
